What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are the ideal opportunity to achieve the qualfications and the work experience you need to develop a career that makes a difference to other peoples lives.

We help you get the job or placement.  We train you.  We provide the vocational qualifications that you need for your career.  You put in the motivation and commitment to achieve your full potential.

The Apprenticeship Programme is fully funded for 16 - 18 year olds, but available to anyone regardless of your age includes;

• Support to find an employment/volunteer placement with a company.
• Achievement of an NVQ/Diploma at level 2 or 3.
• Achievement of Functional Skills at level 1 or 2.
• Achievement of other vocationally related qualifications, such as first aid.
• A minimum of £2.60, if you are employed.
• Financial support for Child Care, Abilty Aids or Hardship.  For more information on financial support, please click here.
